In addition to academic books, the library's research databases provide access to magazines and academic journals. Learn the differences between these two types of information sources.
The following databases, which contain an abundance of academic journal articles, are recommended for students in grades 10-12 only:
EBSCO Academic Search Premier
The A-to-Z World Cultures and Encyclopedia Britannica databases are recommended for students in middle school.
Google Scholar identifies academic books and journal articles published on a wide range of topics, some of which are available full-text on the web.
